BROMONT, QC \u2013 <\/strong>5 juin 2025 \u2013 La comp\u00e9tition du MARS Bromont CCI 2025 d\u00e9butera ce jeudi 5 juin, \u00e0 la suite de l\u2019acceptation de tous les chevaux pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019exception d\u2019un seul, lors de la premi\u00e8re inspection v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, tenue mercredi au Parc \u00e9questre olympique de Bromont. Les \u00e9preuves CCI2-L<\/em>* (incluant la cat\u00e9gorie U25 regroupant plusieurs participants du programme MARS Bromont Rising), CCI3-L<\/em>* et CCI4-L<\/em>* ont \u00e9t\u00e9 inspect\u00e9es par les jurys de terrain respectifs pour \u00e9valuer l\u2019aptitude des chevaux \u00e0 concourir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Malheureusement, un couple du CCI2*-L, soit Arden Wildasin (USA) et Southern Sun, a \u00e9t\u00e9 retenu par le jury. Wildasin a finalement choisi de se retirer de la comp\u00e9tition, ne laissant qu\u2019un seul cheval engag\u00e9 dans la division. Soixante-dix-sept duos provenant de quatre pays commenceront l\u2019\u00e9preuve de dressage au cours des deux prochains jours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement, pris\u00e9 du public et enti\u00e8rement gratuit, se d\u00e9roulera du jeudi au dimanche. Il n\u2019y a aucun frais d\u2019entr\u00e9e ni de stationnement pendant toute la fin de semaine. Les moments forts comprennent deux prestations tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9ciales du Carrousel de la GRC, ainsi qu\u2019un num\u00e9ro de libert\u00e9 \u00e9questre par Sarah Gibault, artiste \u00e9questre professionnelle et ancienne de Cavalia. Elle assurera la premi\u00e8re partie des prestations de la GRC, vers 17h15 les vendredi et samedi 6 et 7 juin, avant le renomm\u00e9 Carrousel de la GRC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Symbole de tradition, d\u2019honneur et de fiert\u00e9, le Carrousel est un embl\u00e8me canadien reconnu ici et \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. Les cavaliers \u2014 tous membres de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada \u2014 r\u00e9alisent des figures et mouvements complexes au rythme de la musique, n\u00e9cessitant une pr\u00e9cision, une coordination et un contr\u00f4le exceptionnels. Le spectacle dure environ 30 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Gibault, artiste \u00e9questre, enseignante et entra\u00eeneure de chevaux, assurera l\u2019ouverture des soir\u00e9es des 6 et 7 juin. Tous les spectacles et activit\u00e9s sont gratuits et adapt\u00e9s aux familles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pour celles et ceux qui ne peuvent se rendre \u00e0 Bromont, toute l\u2019action sera diffus\u00e9e gratuitement sur la cha\u00eene YouTube officielle www.YouTube.com\/@BromontEventing<\/a>, \u00e0 commencer par la premi\u00e8re inspection v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire diffus\u00e9e en direct \u00e0 15h (EST) le mercredi 4 juin. Le dressage se tiendra les jeudi et vendredi (5-6 juin), suivi du cross-country, tr\u00e8s attendu, le samedi 7 juin. La comp\u00e9tition se conclura le dimanche 8 juin avec l\u2019\u00e9preuve de saut d\u2019obstacles, qui d\u00e9terminera les vainqueurs de chaque division. Cet \u00e9t\u00e9, le site recevra trois \u00e9v\u00e9nements majeurs : le MARS Bromont CCI4*, le \u00ab\u00a0Petit Bromont\u00a0\u00bb, et le CCI4 d\u2019ao\u00fbt<\/em>*.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Situ\u00e9 dans le magnifique village de Bromont (Qu\u00e9bec), le site est facilement accessible depuis Montr\u00e9al, Qu\u00e9bec ou Burlington (Vermont).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les parcours de cross-country, sign\u00e9s Derek DiGrazia (USA) et Jay Hambly (CAN), offrent un v\u00e9ritable d\u00e9fi dans un cadre de vill\u00e9giature estival. Les parcours de saut d\u2019obstacles sont quant \u00e0 eux con\u00e7us par Brody Robertson (USA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La GRC pr\u00e9sentera deux prestations durant le MARS Bromont CCI 2025 : vendredi apr\u00e8s-midi 6 juin et samedi 7 juin. Les comp\u00e9titions se d\u00e9rouleront toute la journ\u00e9e, et le spectacle d\u00e9butera vers 17h00. Apr\u00e8s chaque repr\u00e9sentation, le public pourra rencontrer les chevaux et cavaliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
