BROMONT (Qu\u00e9bec), le 7 juin 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Le concepteur des parcours de saut d\u2019obstacles du MARS Bromont CCI, Brody Robertson, expliquait dimanche qu\u2019il souhaitait offrir un d\u00e9fi \u00e9quitable aux chevaux, conscients des efforts importants qu\u2019ils avaient fournis lors du cross-country de samedi. Toutefois, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019un format court ou long, sa philosophie demeure la m\u00eame : mettre \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve la pr\u00e9cision, la planification et les habilet\u00e9s des cavaliers et de leurs montures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comme c\u2019est souvent le cas \u00e0 Bromont, les parcours ont influenc\u00e9 les classements, mais les meilleurs concurrents ont su relever le d\u00e9fi pour d\u00e9crocher les titres dans chacune des divisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamukcu r\u00e9alise un doubl\u00e9 dans le CCI4*-L<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La division CCI4-L* comptait trois anciens chevaux de course, dont celui qui allait finalement remporter les grands honneurs : HSH Double Sixteen, un hongre pur-sang de 11 ans appartenant au Double Sixteen Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s avoir couru en Irlande, le cheval a entam\u00e9 sa carri\u00e8re en concours complet sous la selle de l\u2019Irlandaise Leila Barker avant d\u2019\u00eatre acquis par Caroline Pamukcu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Habituellement associ\u00e9e \u00e0 des chevaux de type warmblood, Pamukcu cherchait \u00e0 ajouter davantage de sang lorsqu\u2019elle s\u2019entra\u00eenait aupr\u00e8s de l\u2019Olympien n\u00e9o-z\u00e9landais Andrew Nicholson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Andrew m\u2019a dit que si je voulais devenir une v\u00e9ritable cavali\u00e8re de niveau cinq \u00e9toiles, j\u2019avais besoin davantage de chevaux de sang \u00bb, a racont\u00e9 Pamukcu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apr\u00e8s un excellent parcours de cross-country samedi, Pamukcu abordait le saut d\u2019obstacles avec une certaine marge de man\u0153uvre. Malgr\u00e9 deux barres renvers\u00e9es, elle a conserv\u00e9 la t\u00eate du classement et remport\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9preuve avec un score final de 47,5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle a \u00e9galement conserv\u00e9 la deuxi\u00e8me place avec She\u2019s The One, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Mollie Hoff et Sherrie Martin, qui a conclu la comp\u00e9tition avec 47,6 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Ce sont deux chevaux extraordinaires et je suis tellement heureuse pour leurs propri\u00e9taires. Ils me soutiennent depuis le tout d\u00e9but \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Pamukcu. \u00ab Ils n\u2019ont que 11 ans et leur avenir est tr\u00e8s prometteur. Leurs parcours de cross-country ont \u00e9t\u00e9 impeccables. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pamukcu a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l\u2019importance de son \u00e9quipe, notamment ses entra\u00eeneures Samantha St. Jacques et Sharon White, sa partenaire d\u2019affaires Kelley Hutchinson, ses palefreni\u00e8res Chloe Teahan et Katie Strickland, ainsi que sa gestionnaire Katie Trafton, qui lui permet de mieux concilier sa carri\u00e8re sportive et sa vie familiale avec son mari Deniz et leur fille Blake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un retour remarqu\u00e9 pour Tracy Bienemann<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La cavali\u00e8re du Maryland Tracy Bienemann montait pour la premi\u00e8re fois dans un CCI4-L* depuis plus de dix ans. Son dernier d\u00e9part \u00e0 ce niveau remontait d\u2019ailleurs \u00e0 Bromont en 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Faisant \u00e9quipe avec Venezuelan River, un pur-sang r\u00e9form\u00e9 des courses achet\u00e9 pour seulement un dollar, elle a compl\u00e9t\u00e9 la comp\u00e9tition au troisi\u00e8me rang avec un score final de 57,9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Il \u00e9tait tellement difficile et dangereux lorsqu\u2019il \u00e9tait jeune qu\u2019il m\u2019a fallu trois ans avant d\u2019accepter de l\u2019inscrire \u00e0 une comp\u00e9tition reconnue \u00bb, a racont\u00e9 Bienemann en riant. \u00ab Tout le travail de base a fini par porter ses fruits. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillip Dutton remporte le CCI4*-S<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phillip Dutton a confirm\u00e9 sa domination dans le CCI4-S* gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un parcours sans faute au saut d\u2019obstacles avec Denim. Le duo a termin\u00e9 la comp\u00e9tition avec un score de 44,5.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dutton avait choisi d\u2019inscrire Denim dans la division courte afin de profiter de sa forme physique actuelle et de pr\u00e9parer la suite de la saison, qui pourrait notamment inclure une s\u00e9lection pour les Championnats du monde de concours complet en ao\u00fbt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Denim saute g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement tr\u00e8s bien. Quand il y a une erreur, c\u2019est souvent de ma faute \u00bb, a plaisant\u00e9 Dutton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cette victoire repr\u00e9sente sa sixi\u00e8me \u00e0 Bromont, un site qu\u2019il affectionne particuli\u00e8rement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Nous adorons Bromont. C\u2019est un v\u00e9ritable concours ax\u00e9 sur le cross-country. Il faut un cheval qui saute bien et qui peut galoper, ce qui repr\u00e9sente l\u2019essence m\u00eame de notre sport.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Am\u00e9ricain Boyd Martin a termin\u00e9 deuxi\u00e8me avec Fetiche Des Rouges (50,7), tandis que l\u2019Olympienne canadienne Jessica Phoenix a pris le troisi\u00e8me rang avec Fluorescent Adolescent (53,1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colleen Loach triomphe dans le CCI3*-L<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Olympienne canadienne Colleen Loach a sign\u00e9 une nouvelle victoire \u00e0 Bromont, apr\u00e8s avoir remport\u00e9 le CCI2-L en 2025. Cette fois, elle s\u2019est impos\u00e9e dans le CCI3-L<\/em> avec Chiaro Z Excalibur, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Peter Barry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un parcours sans faute r\u00e9alis\u00e9 dans le temps allou\u00e9, le duo a termin\u00e9 avec un score de 42,1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Ce cheval ne cesse de s\u2019am\u00e9liorer \u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 Loach. \u00ab Il poss\u00e8de un mental exceptionnel et il fait simplement son travail, peu importe la discipline. Je crois qu\u2019il a un avenir tr\u00e8s prometteur. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originaire de la r\u00e9gion, Loach appr\u00e9cie particuli\u00e8rement l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement bromontois.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab C\u2019est le concours de ma ville natale. L\u2019ambiance est d\u00e9contract\u00e9e, mais l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement est de calibre international. Mes proches peuvent venir me voir et je peux dormir chez moi. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le classement est demeur\u00e9 inchang\u00e9 derri\u00e8re elle, avec Ariel Grald et Obalix au deuxi\u00e8me rang (46,3) et Arden Wildasin et Dalegra au troisi\u00e8me (49,8).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bellissimo et Dyri dominent le CCI2*-L<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019Am\u00e9ricaine Lucienne Bellissimo a conclu sa fin de semaine en remportant le CCI2-L* avec Dyri, propri\u00e9t\u00e9 de Horse Scout Eventing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le duo a conserv\u00e9 sa note de dressage de 26,1, le meilleur score final de l\u2019ensemble de l\u2019\u00e9v\u00e9nement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Je suis vraiment satisfaite \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Bellissimo. \u00ab Mon objectif \u00e9tait de remettre Dyri dans un \u00e9tat d\u2019esprit calme et confiant, et c\u2019est exactement ce que nous avons accompli. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle esp\u00e8re maintenant pr\u00e9parer le hongre Holsteiner de 14 ans pour la finale de l\u2019US Equestrian Open of Eventing \u00e0 Morven Park en octobre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019\u00e9tudiante universitaire Adelyn Rinehart a transform\u00e9 sa troisi\u00e8me place de l\u2019an dernier en victoire dans le CCI2-L U25* avec Corona Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le duo a termin\u00e9 pratiquement sur sa note de dressage, n\u2019ajoutant qu\u2019une seule seconde de temps au cross-country et aucune p\u00e9nalit\u00e9 au saut d\u2019obstacles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab Le parcours semblait imposant, mais j\u2019ai simplement respir\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment et fait confiance \u00e0 tout le travail accompli pour me rendre jusqu\u2019ici \u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 Rinehart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elle devance Olivia Dutton et Dresden (50,5) ainsi que Sarah Newman et Hang Time (52,1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prix Laframboise et programme Bromont Rising<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

En plus de sa victoire, Rinehart a re\u00e7u le Prix H\u00e9ritage de la famille Laframboise, remis au meilleur cavalier U25 du MARS Bromont CCI et soulignant une contribution significative au d\u00e9veloppement du concours complet au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sarah Newman a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices du programme MARS Bromont Rising, qui offre aux jeunes cavaliers un important volet \u00e9ducatif.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Dre Bridgett McIntosh, vice-pr\u00e9sidente de MARS Equestrian, s\u2019est dite impressionn\u00e9e par le programme et les nombreuses activit\u00e9s de formation offertes cette ann\u00e9e, notamment des conf\u00e9rences sur la sant\u00e9 cardiovasculaire, la nutrition \u00e9quine et l\u2019acceptabilit\u00e9 sociale du sport \u00e9questre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
