Day two of dressage at the 2018 MARS Incorporated Bromont CCI Three Day Event saw Switzerland’s Felix Vogg moved in to the lead with a penalty score of 30.20 riding the Germany bred gelding, Colero. This is the first CCI3* for Colero. Felix rides with both US team riders Boyd Martin and Phillip Dutton when he is not based in Europe at the family owned farm in Radolfzell, Germany.

Asked about the venue Felix said “it’s one of the most beautiful places in the world” and “perfect for Eventing”.

Willian Coleman (USA) who led the CCI2* following Thursday dressage on TKS Cooley added a 1st and 5th in the CIC2* with Off The Record (ISH) and Soupcon du Brunet (AA) respectively. Off The Record has a penalty score going in to cross-country of 26.10 just .60 ahead of Matt Flynn (USA) riding Get Lucky.

When asked about the reasons for his successes Will said “I am very lucky that I have a really good team and that my wife [Katie] spearheads that”.

First horse on cross-country Saturday morning starts at 8:30am with the CCI1* and CCI3* competition begins at 11:15am followed by the 2* divisions.
